Addons

Choose what participates in discovery

Your addon library

  • Official Addons: RELAY-maintained services. The core catalogue is enabled; subtitles are optional.
  • RELAY Community: reserved for RELAY community projects. No projects are currently published here.
  • Stremio Community: the existing third-party Stremio addons, retaining their publisher identity.
  • Installed: your installed addons, including those you disabled.

Install by link in Windows

  1. Open the profile menu → Addons → Add addon.
  2. Paste the publisher's HTTPS manifest URL or a stremio:// install link.
  3. Choose Review addon. Check the publisher host, name, description, capabilities and content types.
  4. If configuration is required, open the publisher's configuration page, finish setup there, then paste its generated manifest link.
  5. Choose Install and enable.

Enable, disable and uninstall

Enable includes an addon in applicable discovery requests. Disable keeps it installed without requesting new results from it. Uninstall removes it from your installed library; bundled directory entries can still be visible for reinstalling. The core catalogue remains enabled.

Defaults and existing users

Previously bundled third-party defaults are opt-in. Existing addon records belonging to a registered account are preserved. Guest addon choices are scoped to the signed guest session instead of the old shared guest identity; clearing or losing that session can reset the guest library. Sign in for account-based persistence.

Trust and privacy

A manifest is a description, not a security review. Third-party providers may receive your requested title identifiers and network address. Personalised manifest URLs may contain secrets: do not post them publicly. Installing an addon does not bypass its subscriptions, geographic restrictions or content rights.

Community listings

The Stremio Community tab contains the configured directory entries, not a live mirror of every addon on stremio-addons.net. Automatic third-party directory synchronisation is not enabled. Developers can distribute a manifest URL directly without waiting for directory inclusion.
